Chuckii's love for music came from his Pops, who grew up on the South Side of Chicago immersed in the city's house and early hip-hop scenes, and who first showed him how to cut records on a mixer and turntables. He considers himself less a DJ than a selector — his taste is eclectic, but his heart belongs to house.

In homage to those Chicago roots, his sets lean into upbeat, jacking house infused with hip-hop and soul. He's played support around Las Vegas for the likes of Prospa, Rossi., and Chase West, and recently co-founded the record label Public Domain alongside fellow Las Vegas artist Matt Faulk.
